The purpose of the annual leadership gathering is for the FYLPRO delegates to strengthen the bond and energize the Filipino community as well as develop strategies to address advocacies and legacy projects that promote development of the Filipino community in the US and the Philippines. Among this year’s sponsors and partners are Enterprise Solutions, Panalo, Philippine Airlines, Philippine Inquirer, US-Philippine Society, and TLC Beatrice.

“New York is our launch pad to develop programs that will continue to advocate for Filipinos. We’re focused on empowering and energizing the Fil-Am community, especially the youth,” said FYLPRO President Bea Querido.

FYLPRO is a non-profit organization that was established in 2012 by Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the U.S., Jose L. Cuisia, Jr. and Mrs. Victoria J. Cuisia in cooperation with the Ayala Foundation Inc. to identify, each year, ten outstanding young professionals in the Filipino communities across the United States called FYLPRO delegates. The leadership immersion in the Philippines provides the delegates with invaluable community, business, and government insights and access to a distinguished network of captains in industry and government.
